At NextDoor Tutoring, we believe every student deserves individualized support and the opportunity to build confidence in learning. Founded in 2022, we have proudly served families throughout the community for a little over four years and have earned over 75 five-star reviews from satisfied families.
Our team consists of certified teachers, retired educators, and experienced subject area experts who provide high-quality, one-on-one tutoring tailored to each student’s unique needs. We proudly serve students of all ages, from Pre-K through college, as well as adult learners preparing for exams or continuing their education.
We offer both in-person and online tutoring services in a wide variety of subjects, including:
• Reading and writing
• Elementary, middle, and high school math
• Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus
• Science courses including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Anatomy & Physiology, and more
• Social Studies
• SAT, ACT, PERT, FAST, EOC, GED, and GRE preparation
• FTCE test preparation for aspiring and current educators
In addition, we specialize in supporting students with IEPs, 504 Plans, dyslexia, ADHD, and other diverse learning needs. We proudly work with public school, private school, homeschool, and virtual school students.
Families can choose from convenient online sessions or in-person tutoring at local libraries, homes, and community locations. We currently offer in-person tutoring throughout Manatee and Sarasota Counties, with tutor availability spanning from Parrish and Lakewood Ranch to Venice, North Port, and Englewood. Online tutoring is available to students anywhere.
New students may enroll at any time throughout the school year, and there are no registration deadlines.
