JULY 19 Back to School Bash Get ready to kick off the new school year with our exciting Back to School Bash! Join us at Ellenton Premium Outlets for a day of celebration and preparation. 10AM-2PM
JULY 20 Backpack Giveaway If you or someone you know is in need, we’ll be giving away free backpacks filled with some school supplies immediately after both services on Sunday, July 20th. (9AM & 11AM) Supplies are limited and will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.
JULY 24 Kids Wellness and Resource Day FREE Lunch for Kids 18 & younger (11:00am - 2:00 pm), Fun Prizes for the first 500 kids to attend, Kids enter for your chance to win a Bike, Community Vendors offering information on health, nutrition, fitness and social services.

JULY 26 Summer Finale: Mini Golf North Port Library Celebrate the end of summer with a professional mini golf experience. Navigate through creatively themed course holes designed to spark your imagination and inspire a love for reading. 2:30-4:30PM
AUG 2 Back-to-School Bash at The Mall at UTC Get ready to kick off the new school year with our exciting Back to School Bash! Join us at The Mall at University Town Center for a day of celebration and preparation. Entertainment, Community fun, school supplies and helpful resources. 10AM-2PM
AUG 2 FREE event - Project Back 2 School This year we will be offering FREE Haircuts, FREE supply-filled backpacks, and FREE Sports Physicals to the families in our community to ensure they are ready to start this new school year off STRONG!
AUG 2 End of Summer Celebration at the LWR Library Celebrate a wonderful summer spent with the Summer Learning Program! School of Rock will be here for a concert and we'll have food trucks, lawn games, crafts and more! 10AM
AUG 2 Back to School Youth Activity Fair at the Venice Community CenterCome out to the Venice Community Center for this free event to gather all the resources you need to prepare for your family's return to school. 10:30-1:30
AUG 2 Back to School Night with the Bradenton MaraudersEnjoy a Marauders baseball game at LECOM Park before heading back to school, presented by Achieva Credit Union! The first 500 kids ages 12 and younger take home a backpack.
AUG 2 Rock, Paper Scissors School Supplies Giveaway 53rd Ave Church of Christ will be giving away free school supplies at this event. Children must be accompanied with parents. Free hot dogs, soda. 11AM

AUG 2 Back to School: Fuel the Future A family-friendly event featuring FREE school supply giveaways*, fun activities for the kids, and resources to help students start the school year strong. Learn more about Florida Blue member benefits and how we're supporting healthy, successful school years in our communities. 10-1PM
AUG 3 Back to School Backpacks The first 150 students in line for this event will receive a backpack, $20 gift card, and Gideon's International student New Testament. Everyone who attends will receive a grilled hotdog sandwich, an individual bag of chips, a pack of cookies and a bottle of water.
AUG 3 THE DANCE HAUS, SRQ (Formerly Mystical's Dance Co.) Open House Come by and meet our newest merging directors, see what’s new for 2025, register for classes, and connect with our talented faculty. Light refreshments will be served.
AUG 7 MOD Pizza Back to School Bash Come out to MOD Pizza before or after your school's Open Houses. Enjoy games and crafts for everyone. Kids get a special surprise to take to school. Free mini Italian Ice for the first 100 kids! 4-9PM

Back-to-School Holiday: This tax-free period for school supplies, clothing, and computers will take place throughout the entire month of August (August 1-31). The maximum price for clothing, wallets, and bags to be tax-exempt is $100 or less, and for school supplies, it's $50 or less.
